All units are compulsory, covering the essential theoretical foundations and central traditions of psychoanalytic thought. The capstone of the programme. Students develop a precise psychoanalytical research question and complete an independently written Master's Thesis under individual academic supervision, demonstrating theoretical understanding, analytical precision, and methodological reflection.

Focus on Sigmund Freud's central writings and their theoretical logic. Analysis of Freud's model of the psyche, drive theory, and the significance of psychoanalysis as a theory of the subject and culture.

Devoted to C.G. Jung's analytical psychology. Key concepts include archetypes, the collective unconscious, symbolism and individuation, and their theoretical distinction from Freudian psychoanalysis.

Performance-Based Admission (PBA): An alternative route for candidates without formal academic qualifications. Students demonstrate academic ability through coursework performance. Final admission is based on performance during the course of study, not solely on formal qualifications.
